Oh well, rest day tomorrow. Food prep and trying to figure out a new eating plan.

I think I’m going all raw next week. Let’s see how this goes!

This workout I don’t know why was just so shitty.

I felt like it was so ineffective . It was like my form was wrong on everything and all I want is to build my triceps and I don’t think it’ll ever happen.

Aside from that, I love bulking, I love thinking of the results once I start cutting, but, a lot of my clothes now fit funny and my stomach is getting bigger. Maybe I need to reevaluate what I’m eating during the day….

My food prep for this week!!! 

I always feel off for some reason over the weekend with my rest days. I feel like I’m eating way to much and I don’t know if I am. I feel like I get fit during the week and then I get fat over the weekend. It’s starting to piss me off.

This was today’s workout. Let me start with my weekend first.
I had three rest days…Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Let me tell you, I HATE REST DAYS! I get soooo bored! all I want to do is go to the gym and kick ass and take my protein shake, etc…but noooo I had to sit home. Which, on friday, was actually fantastic because I was so exhausted from that week. My friend bought me three supplements: whey, casein, and Craze. I took the Casein before bed that night, and the next morning, holy crap…i was STARVING! like beyond starving!
So Saturday I tried to stick with my six meals for the day, which I did, with maybe some snacking in between (mostly just roasted vegetables…nothing unhealthy), then I went climbing for about two hours which made me feel better because it was some sort of workout. That night, I went out…and this was the test. Big time! I offered to be DD so I knew I couldn’t drink that much to begin with. But when I got there it’s buy one get one so my friend offered me a beer. I did research of the best beers to have if you are trying to be healthy but want to be social and Bud Light was at the top. And although I love my Sam Adams, it was way at the bottom of the list. So, I had one Bud Light and then that was it! Water for the rest of the night…I WAS SO PROUD! You have no idea how hard it was. I got home that night, (morning, it was 3:30am hahaha) and took casein and did not snack and went to bed.
The next morning I went to weight myself and a weekly thing. And last week I weighed 130.7 which made me so mad because a few months ago i was at 119. So, I stepped on the scale, closed my eyes and I was at 127.7!!! 3 pounds gone, IN A WEEK! I ate 6 meals a day for 7 days, had three rest days, and even cheated with beers that prior thursday and I still lost weight. I felt so proud! The whole day I did a food prep. I made 3 pounds of naked roasted vegetables (naked meaning no salt or pepper, just coconut oil spray), turkey meatballs, and salmon. All delicious! That night was a celebration for my sisters birthday at a Mexican restaurant.
Okay, so the one thing i hate the most is when you go out and people won’t eat ANYTHING because they’re “watching themself” People…INDULDGE! you only live once! there is that saying “One bad meal won’t make you fat, just like one good meal won’t make you skinny” I was just more observant of the ingredients. So I chose fish tacos that were baked in blue soft tortillas with lettuce tomato, cilantro, and a verde sauce and I asked for no rice and beans and got veggies instead and it was DELICIOSO! But, afterwards i felt really shitty because I haven’t had salt in so long and a large portion at one time, so I decided to take medication for my stomach. (because this is my blog, I am going to talk about this haha). This morning, it went right out of my stomach…all of it! I felt SO much better.
Now we come to this morning. I woke up, ate a 4 white, one yolk scramble with a 1/2 cup roasted veggies and ezekiel bread with natural peanut butter (my favorite), prepped my meals, made my post workout shake and took down my Craze. So, Craze, if you don’t know is a Performance fuel you can get off of Bodybuilding.com (promotion right there! You’re welcome bodybuilding.com <—-did it again). It’s like BCAAs (Branched chain amino acids) What it does is you take it about 1/2 hour prior to your workout and it gives you a boost in performance. You have so much energy and you’re ready to go. I am in LOVE with this stuff. My workout has never been so good!!!
So my workout: All of my weights for each exercise went up by 5# approximately. My pushups were incredibly easy compared to last time and my form was a lot better as well. Because I had some time leftover, I decided to do HIIT on the treadmill for ten minutes. At 8mph I did 30 sec on and 30 sec off. I was sweating hardcore by the end. (HIIT is aMUST)
8am was my second meal…post workout protein shake which gave me a really bad stomach ache because I think my stomach was so empty from that medication.
11am I had my second meal of a spinach salad, with blackened salmon, chia, tomatoes, and a cup of my roasted veggies. DELICIOUS!
I’m already craving my 2pm cottage cheese hahaha. oh man how I love food.
Welp, that’s my update for now.
My thoughts on Jamie Eason’s 12-week plan?DO IT!!!!!!It’s been a week and I’ve lost weight, can see so much more muscle definition, and have so much more energy, especially at 5am.
